Happy sunny Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend! I hope over the next few months I will have the opportunity to meet each of you in person in at least one of the live Friday sessions. There is so much talent in this group and I hope we can combine our synergies, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you think there is an opportunity.
I would also like to share with the team how a simple encounter with the wonderful Sarah Hilton over a noon-time coffee not only strengthened a friendship but also provided clarity and purpose to me. I was going through a rough time post-election and Sarah put on her listening ears and just made me feel heard and validated. She also encouraged me to develop a keynote about my experience. My response was that I would do this once healed…so over the Christmas holidays, I wrote, and wrote and wrote just to spill my thoughts onto paper and the result was a combination of ideas that Sarah read and helped me organize into several topics for possible keynotes.
Since, I have had the opportunity to test a couple of these keynotes and while they still need polishing, I wouldn’t have been able to get that clarity of purpose without her insight, so kudos Ms. Hilton and blessings for your ability to listen and care.
